Echo Street
Introduction
At Clay, I contributed to the frontend development of Echo Street’s new marketing website — an immersive experience for a New York investment firm. The work combines a restrained editorial system with 3D landscapes, fluid story sequences, and responsive interactions to make the firm’s strategy, culture, and team feel distinctive and approachable.

Challenges
Building the homepage sequence
My main task was to assemble the homepage animation sequence and build the surrounding homepage elements into one cohesive, responsive experience. I connected the 3D scenes, interface states, typography, and transitions so the narrative moved smoothly across the page while remaining stable across screen sizes.
Challenge 02
Building the interactive investment map
The second challenge was assembling the interactive investment map on the homepage. I connected the 3D landscape with sector hotspots, labels, and camera transitions, coordinating their states and timing so visitors could move between neighborhoods without losing context. The experience also needed to stay responsive and smooth while keeping every location and interaction aligned with the wider homepage narrative.

Final thoughts
An investment experience with depth
The finished website gives Echo Street a digital presence that feels unlike a conventional asset management firm. Its calm visual system, purposeful motion, and immersive 3D storytelling work together to explain the company’s point of view, introduce its people, and support recruitment across devices.
